Artist's Statement:

I wrote this song to really try to expand my musical style by having up to three part harmonies. I used some word painting in the piece, to help make it different from other "pop" songs out there; such examples are the three part harmony on the word "harmony." I also tried to experiment with a lot of "dubbing" over the girl's voice with herself, by having her hold out ends of phrases while she began a new chorus, verse etc. I wanted my piece to really stand out from maybe most other pop songs out there that just utilize one vocal with no harmony. I wanted to bring my choral experience and talent to my music, and really make this piece unique.
