If I could just get
A lil piece of peace
I'd be cool
With all the wars and perverted people in this world
It's kind of hard not wanting just a piece
A whole slice would be overrated
And something that I'll never see
But just a lil piece could make a difference to me
To not hear one gunshot
Or one argument at night
To see no one getting doused with gasoline all the time
To have a leader in charge
And know what he's talking about
A leader who thinks things through
And war isn't always his main route
A lil piece a peace
Is all that I could ask for today
Because it's just one step away
To a better peaceful day.
