It is
Our utopia.
A place in the future
Perhaps
No hateful eyes
Or greedy hands
A constant aspiration
They tell us in kindergarten
Not to hit
Or hate
To love our neighbor
But sometimes we forget
When we are old
We forget
About kindergarten
How it didn’t quite matter
That we all were not exactly the same.
So we lose
Our utopia
Today
But perhaps
In the future
We can teach our children
Not to
Forget
About kindergarten
To remember
How they
Built
Towers
With kids
Who
Were
Different
So perhaps In the future
We will no longer
Aspire
For
Peace
Perhaps In the future
It will be
